Your Responsibilities:
- Apply requirements engineering throughout product development and ensure early system requirement specification
- Define system-level acceptance criteria, break down requirements, and hand over to relevant domains and systems
- Develop system architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Performance & Emissions, Simulation, Design, Controls, etc.)
- Facilitate communication between mechanics, electrics, and software to deliver a verified, validated, and well-documented product
- Assess validation and verification activities to ensure high product quality
- Lead and guide a team of System Engineers, providing technical and disciplinary leadership
- Organize, coordinate, and prioritize team tasks for efficient workflow and goal achievement
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, and targeted training
Your Profile:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, ideally with leadership responsibility
- Broad engineering background (controls, mechanics, thermodynamics, validation)
- Strong affinity for modern systems engineering tools (PTC Codebeamer/IQuavis MBSE experience beneficial)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to moderate between conflicting interests
- Ability to clarify complex problems and communicate them effectively
- Systems thinking mindset with a focus on customer needs
- Good English language skills required; German is a plus
